  2. I am praying that God would open each of your eyes to what is around you and that your lives will be changed by what you saw.

A challenge would be to not forget what you saw and experiened while on the trip. I challenge each one of you to find an accountability partner (someone who was on the trip) and just talk to them so that you don't lose what you found on the trip.

I can't wait to hear all of the stories!! :)

  4. Everywhere you go you are MAKING a big impact..... and you don't have to worry, it's not so much because of you (although you are all so awesome!) but it's because Jesus is ALIVE in you and wants to reach the world anywhere He can.

We never know the footprints someone else has taken before they 'bumped' into us.... don't underestimate that nudge to go on this street, smile to that person, give a kind word to that one..... even among your team members during this week and beyond.... Holy Spirit speaks loudly through the things we follow through on. We're so blessed that we get to PARTNER with Him to do His business of loving people in the earth!

You have EVERYTHING you need for this mission and anything God calls you to because the Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah LIVES in you! There's no "Big Holy Spirit" and "Little Holy Spirit" when it comes to God's kids.... Holy Spirit is the same in us all.... He just gets to reveal more of Himself in those who will RADICALLY love the broken, RADICALLY care for the hurting, RADICALLY get near to those that most are afraid to get near.

I'm proud of you all, not just my amazing guys who are there, but ALL of you! You inspire me in a day when far too many people are wrapped up in their own life.... you are wrapped up in the love of GOD all over Chicago!!

Be strong! Be warriors! YOUR GOD is with you!!!

Much love to each of you,
    Sandi Krakowksi :)

  5. Team,

My prayer remains the same... "God, wreck their lives for all things but you."

    Leaders,

Hate to say it, but I'm praying the same things for you all. May you never get used to Jesus.

Be bold as you prepare to return home and contact the friends you are writing.

  6. To all the Leaders and Students:
    Joshua 1:6-9
Joshua,(put your name here) be strong and brave! You must lead these people so they can take their land. This is the land I promised their fathers I would give them. Be strong and brave. Be sure to obey all the teaching my servant Moses gave you. If you follow them exactly, you will be successful in everthing you do. Always remember what is written in the Book of the Teaching. Study it day and night. The you will be sure to obey everything that is written there. If you do this, you will be wise and successful in everything. Remember that I commanded you to be strong and brave. So don't be afraid. The Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go."

  7. Rachael and I are so proud of each of you for surrendering a week of your summer to “sit at the feet of Jesus” and allow him to teach you about His heart for the lost and the “least of these”.

Our prayer is that you will have learned and will come home with the deep conviction that as Ephesians 3:20 (The Message) states, “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!”

Oh yeah, one more thing. We do have a special something for Lois. What? There’s no Lois on the team? Actually there is. Will Lois please stand up? Thank you Lois! (a.k.a. Carlie). We want to share these verses with you tonight. Please take them to heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 says,”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

  8. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.

  9. My prayer for all of you:
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit.
    Jeremiah 17:7-8

  11. I am sooo proud of all of you. You are doing amazing things in Chicago! As I look at your pictures, you are all touching so many people in various settings. We owe all the thanks to God for the strength and guidance he is giving all of you.

"Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens."
    Psalms 68:19

Praying for you all as you finish your hands on experience of God's work and return home to reflect on your journey. May you all spread the lessons you have learned this week as you go out into your own community. May the glory be to God,

  12. Can't wait to hear the stories behind the pictures! Not only are you touching lives in
Chicago, you are having an impact on those of us at home as we witness what God is doing through you! We pray daily for protection and boldness in sharing the love of Christ. 14. Wow Team!

I came into the office this morning and looked at the pictures of the past couple days and I cannot even begin to express how pumped I am. SO FREAKING AWESOME! What I love most about seeing the pictures and hearing reports from Pastor Chris: Some of you came into the past couple days thinking there was no way you could do something like this.

Tomorrow, you will begin the journey home. You will begin to process all of the things that you have been experiencing. All of the emotions. All of the thoughts. All of the doubts. All of the joyful moments. All of the frustrations. All of the conversations. But remember this: You were created for this exact moment in your life. God created you and put you in exactly this position so that you may experience all that he has set before you.

May your memories of this experience be the times that you felt the Holy Spirit moving, empowering, and guiding your very breaths as you passionately pursued Him this week.

Praying for clear minds and full hearts as you go through the debrief tomorrow!

    Love and Prayers,
    Geoff

  15. Praying for you guys now and thru the rest of your life. May you always have God first in your life. Proud of you for going out and let your life shine for the people of Chicago. May you not lose the fire you are feeling for the Lord now as you come back home. Remember if you saved 1 soul for the kingdom of the Lord that is worth more than all the money in the world. The Lord has big plans for all of you, don't forget to stop and listen so he can do his work thru you. Looking forward to to seeing you all again. May you be safe as you come home. May the Lord bless you all for your time this week

  16. Be still, and know that I am God! Psalm 46:10

This passage reminds me that Jesus is holding me and taking care of my needs! That is such a good feeling. You are serving a loving Lord who will care for you always. You have been strong and courageous this week, caring for people. It is evident in the pictures that have been posted, you have been the hands and feet of Jesus holding others up and showing them what it means to trust a loving God. I am so glad that God is in control and will never freak out on us. He has a specific plan for each of you. Pretty Awesome!

  17. "There comes a time in one’s life where one must decide whether one wants to be blinded by the sun, or be awakened by the light."

This week YOU have made the first step into bringing light into the world through God's love. Through your caring souls and testimonies you have helped in impacting the lives of others you have had the chance to talk to. I hope that you have been immersed in the love of your savior and know how you can show others his undying love. As you come to the end of this journey I challenge you to not return as the individuals you were when you left.

"I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."
    ~Robert Frost

You now have the chance to return to your homes, communities, schools, and world as someone who knows how to make a difference. Go forth and do God's work! Our greatest days are just ahead!
